Automated Logic OptiPoint™ Smart Valves provide precise hot water flow control for pressure-dependent HVAC applications, including zoning reheat systems. Featuring communicating actuators, these smart valves allow Automated Logic terminal unit controllers to modulate valve positions directly through serial commands, delivering precise control and exact position feedback for diagnostics.
Designed to integrate with Act Net-enabled controllers, OptiPoint Smart Valves eliminate the need for physical controller inputs and outputs. Up to two valves can connect to the Act Net bus on a compatible controller, and each valve is pre-addressed to simplify installation and commissioning.
Available with electronic fail-safe options that drive the valve to an open, closed, or last-position state during power loss, OptiPoint valves offer flexible control to meet specific application requirements. Field-adjustable maximum flow coefficients (Cv) allow local or remote configuration through the WebCTRL building automation system.
Featuring self-cleaning ball valve technology, high close-off capabilities, and a patented brushless DC motor, OptiPoint Smart Valves help minimize energy losses, prevent clogging, and improve long-term reliability. Exact position feedback and remote accessibility through WebCTRL support commissioning, fault detection, diagnostics, and ongoing maintenance.
Designed for chilled or hot water applications with up to 60% glycol, OptiPoint Smart Valves provide an efficient solution for precise HVAC reheat control and building automation integration.
