The Automated Logic ZN253 is a fully programmable, native BACnet Advanced Application Controller (AAC) designed to control individual zones within a building. It is well suited for unit ventilators, packaged HVAC equipment, fan coil units, lighting, and exhaust fan applications, particularly where multiple analog outputs are needed to modulate valves or dampers.
The ZN253 communicates over an EIA-485 network using BACnet MS/TP and integrates with the WebCTRL building automation system. EIKON graphical programming software allows custom control sequences, while a library of standard control programs supports common zoning applications.
The controller supports up to 10 points, consisting of five universal inputs, two digital outputs, and three analog outputs. It also supports Automated Logic communicating sensors and OptiPoint touchscreen interfaces for setpoint adjustment, occupancy overrides, equipment management, and troubleshooting.
